What is Draculas Castle?

Bill Beatty, our Editor-in-Chief, was my guiding light. I learned to think of journalism, the gambling industry, and even life, in whole new ways thanks to him, and I’ll always count on him as one of my mentors.

But I couldn’t have accomplished half of what I did without all of my colleagues, past and present. Our talented team of writers, editors, web site development guys, production team, on screen reporters, Human Resources, Accountants, everyone. It took the whole team to make sure we put up the latest news and opinions every day, and everyone deserves their fair share of the credit.

To all of those I met at the handful of conferences I attended before Covid-19 sent everything to digital, and all of those I met over email or Zoom since, it was a pleasure to meet you. bitcoinsv.io – Node and Software Updates – If you’re already beyond the basics or if you’re a developer looking to look under the hood, BitcoinSV.io is an excellent resource that explains the technical aspects of BSV. The site also offers a section containing developer resources so you can get started right away building your BSV solutions.

Bitcoin SV Academy – Bitcoin SV Training – The Bitcoin SV Academy is a new site that is offering training on Bitcoin SV. The first course covers Bitcoin Theory.

The next couple of courses will cover Bitcoin Development and Bitcoin Infrastructure. The courses are like Udemy or Lynda with written material, educational videos and tests that require a pass before you can move on to the next section.

Bitcoin Association – Bitcoin Industry Organization – The Bitcoin Association is a non-profit group that supports businesses, developers, transaction processors and others working with the technology. The group offers education to business, organizes the Bitcoin SV technical standards committee and offers out of the box solutions for people and companies looking to build solutions with Bitcoin.

Unfortunately, because of that attorney-client privilege, it is difficult to know what types of ethical dilemmas Hasselback is facing. However, it’s likely just the mere hint at issues will be enough for IPI to find itself, once again, being more closely scrutinized. Where that leads is anyone’s guess, given gaming regulators’ reluctance to hold the company accountable for its actions.

IPI now has until this Friday to find a new lawyer to carry the six-case workload Hasselback had, but will most likely use this as an excuse to delay the ongoing legal battles. It won’t get very far with that, though, and perhaps Judge Kennedy expected IPI to try something. She added in her ruling that the attorney’s exit “may cause some delay, [but] that delay is not so much so that it would cause significant prejudice or adversely and materially affect the plaintiff.”

This particular lawsuit involving Fox Financial, one of a growing list IPI is battling, centers on an arrangement the company made with a third party, Forson Holdings. That entity had leased property from Fox in 2016, but fell behind. IPI had signed as a guarantor of that lease agreement and, as such, was responsible for covering Forson in the event payments weren’t made. However, it decided it didn’t need to follow the terms of the contract.
